Miguel Granier
Miguel has nearly two decades of experience financing businesses from start-up to growth stage. As Founder of Invested Development, the Impact Factoring Fund, and Investment Manager for First Light Ventures, he led investments in dozens of start-ups across nine countries and three continents. He also provided the “first check” to launch Greentown Labs, was an original Board Member at Village Capital, and helped launch the Cox Cleantech Accelerator. Miguel began his finance career as a loan officer for the global microfinance organization ACCION, and has worked for Fidelity National Financial in New York and the Delter Business Institute in Beijing. He most recently served as Managing Director of the Cox Cleantech Accelerator in Atlanta.
Miguel earned two Master’s degrees from Georgia Tech; one in City & Regional Planning and the other in Sustainable Energy & Environmental Management, and was a Distinguished External Fellow at Georgia Tech’s Strategic Energy Institute. He has taught at the Monterrey Institute of International Studies, Northeastern University, and Georgia Tech.
